We bought this mattress less than 3 years ago. We chose S&F because we wanted a high quality mattress that would last and was comfortable. While the mattress is quite comfortable, the quality and workmanship is not. Recently when changing the sheets, we noticed that the edge tape joining the side panel to the bottom panel of the mattress was beginning to unravel. This was opening up the seam between the two panels and exposing the inner part of the mattress. As this mattress came with a 10 year warranty, I promptly filed a claim and provided all necessary documentation and photos. The claim was initially denied - claiming it did not meet warranty thresholds. After asking for a review, I was again told it was denied but this time with a claim of physical abuse to the mattress. Finally, I was told this was final and no further review could be done. This will be the last S&F mattress I ever purchase and would encourage anyone who looks for quality to look elsewhere.

I was never totally impressed by this mattress. It was just okay when we first got it. Now, 2 1/2 years later it is so uncomfortable! It is sagging but most likely not enough for replacement, which I don't want another Stearns & Foster mattress anyway. My husband wants me to connect with Stearns & Foster as he says there is a gap of 1 1/2". I do NOT want the hassle they will certainly give me. We have been sleeping in the guest room on a much less expensive mattress and it is 100 times better than the expensive Stearns & Foster mattress. We went out and bought a foam mattress pad to go on top of the Stearns & Foster mattress to hopefully avoid spending another $4000+ for a new mattress after just 2 years. I Do not recommend, and will never buy another, Stearns & Foster mattress.

The pillow top mattress gives us the support and firmness we need for a good night of sleep.

Wow Wow This is the second purchase of the same mattress & box springs. The first was in 2010 when we (husband & I) upgraded from a queen to a king. Currently, as senior citizens we need the best support we can get for our bodies as they age. We spent over a month going from store to store in our local area trying out mattresses/box springs and again & again we came back to the one we purchased. We actually purchased from the manufacture's web site and spoke with a representative who made sure we were getting what we needed. Excellent delivery & set up and removal of former mattress set. The price was unbelievable compared to the local stores. Would do it again if we needed, THANKS STEARNS & FOSTER FOR BEING THERE FOR US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We've had memory foam mattresses for the last 15+ years and I've never been super happy. We were recently at the St. Regis Bora Bora and Pelican Hill in Newport Beach (both Marriott properties) and I tore apart both beds to look at the mattresses...I almost ordered direct from the hotel online stores but decided to call Sterns and Foster customer service first. They were BEYOND helpful! I told her both properties that we had stayed at, she looked up the exact mattresses, asked me a couple of questions about my personal preferences (since my husband and I didn't want to go into a store to try them out) and then placed the order for me over the phone. Easy breezy! And just in case we weren't happy with the mattress, she explained the trial period and how easy it would be if we needed to switch out mattresses. Delivery was super fast and easy and we've now been sleeping like we're in Bora Bora every night! Sleeping too well....I now sleep so well that I have to set an alarm to wake up! LOVE OUR NEW LUXURIOUS VACATION MATTRESS!

I enjoyed a S&F mattress for 22 years, and honestly, I felt that it still had some life left in it. Still comfortable and solid after all those years. I was moving to a new house and thought it was probably time to replace the old S&F mattress/boxspring. I ordered a new Queen Lux Estate Tight Top Medium and was delighted to learn that it did not need a boxspring - one less bulky item to move. I ordered the foundation platform with the mattress for support and to extend the life of the mattress. I expected the same quality and comfort from my new S&F mattress and have not been disappointed at all! The biggest take away from this new S&F purchase has been the witnessing of the consistent quality of the product from my initial purchase 22 years ago!

I was shopping for a new mattress and tried many different floor samples from all the current brands. When I tried the S&F Estate - I knew it was the one. Went back numerous times to make sure and every time I got that "Ahhhh" feeling. I absolutely love it, It is the most comfortable and supportive mattress I have ever owned. We had bought another brand about 6 years ago and it just didn't hold up. We have always had good luck with Stearns and Foster and this one did not disappoint. I have had a second hand Sterns & Foster before & loved it. That mattress was awesome for almost 20 years. Based on that alone, I wanted to replace with a new one. This one has been a dream! Soft but firm. Zero movement is felt from partner on other side. Stays cool and is absolutely beautiful; I hated to cover it with sheets.

I believed this mattress was about $500 less than what it ended up being. I was lead to believe that it came with a free base which it did not. It took 3 weeks to get here but the amount of time to cancel was only a couple of days.

I wanted to love this mattress. It felt wonderful in the store. At home, however, it feels like a totally different mattress. I wake at night with back pain and my arms sometimes go numb. I have never had this issue before. My husband also complains of this from this mattress. I went out of town for a weekend and the symptoms went away and returned after laying in my bed. It feels as though the bed caves in the middle when both my husband and I sleep on it. he is 220lbs and I am 130lbs, so this definitely should not happen. I should have returned it, but just missed the return window.

After only 3.5 months I am noticing that the pillowtop becomes too soft and unsupportive that I am experiencing back pain that wakes me up at night. For a mattress that costs thousands of dollars, this should not be happening. I reached out for an exchange and they will not let me because it is past the 90 night trial. Mind you, it's only half a month past the 90 trial. Plus, I am asking for an exchange not even a full return and they won't even let me do this. This is horrible service on top of poor product. I will not be buying from this brand in the future.

I purchased an Estate 14.5" Plush Mattress, queen prime, in February 2023. For over three years I have dreaded changing the bedding. And turning the mattress. It is SO HEAVY. My back hurts for at least a day or longer. As for sleeping quality, it is okay. Nothing spectacular to brag about. It's a mattress. When I purchased it, the weight of the mattress never crossed my mind. Never thought about it before, but if I live long enough to need to buy a new mattress, I will certainly take that into consideration. Not recommended for senior citizens or challenged individuals.

People I'm sleeping!!!!!!!! This mattress is so comfortable I'm sleeping like a rock! And I am so happy I got a king size! I can spread out and not bother my better half! The mattress is firm which I like and my husband was a bit concerned because he like his mattress softer, but I heard no complaints about this mattress from him. I would recommend this mattress to anyone and have! The price was expensive and it was the only downside, but well worth it in my mind because gosh darn it, I'm sleeping!!!!!

A year ago I purchased a different brand mattress, and it quickly became uncomfortable. So after much more research, and bed testing, I decided to go ahead with the Sterns and Foster Queen Lux Estate Soft Pillow Top! It is the most comfortable mattress I have ever experienced! My hips are what typically kill me at night after having babies, and this mattress has seriously changed my life! I now sleep without pain, and my husband even moves throughout the night on his side, and it doesn't wake me! Its changed BOTH of our lives. Good sleep for both of us makes us better partners in life and better/happier parents and that alone... has been worth it! Investing in our sleep has been life changing and we're so happy to have found this mattress! Even my Oura ring tells me how much better sleep I am getting! I purchased a Stearns & Foster Estate Soft 15" Euro Pillow Top Mattress in July of 2023. The 1st mattress delivered was all uneven from the start. With the extended warranty I was able to exchange it. The 2nd mattress was better for about a year and it started to sag. Now this expensive mattress that I've only had 3 years is sagging really bad in the middle. These are horrible mattresses and NOT worth the money! Very uncomfortable!

I did call your mattress expert after sleeping on my cousin Stearns and Foster. I gave the person all the details, tag information, etc. but I don't think I got the same quality or at least not the same mattress that my cousin has so it is a nice mattress…. the delivery men were fabulous, but it's not exactly what I wanted.

I ordered 2 sets from and outside vendor a queen and xl twin long.. I am bringing up this issue with the xl twin mattress.
1. Ordered firm and I did not realize the name ultra firm is harder than a regular firm mattress. I felted like laying down on concrete. Asked for a firm pillow top but received soft pillow top. Not good at all. I guess I have to order a new mattress or work with my vendor again to exchange it for firm pillow top, Due to back and health issues, we decided to invest in a good quality Stearns and Foster mattress with the adjustable base, but I am unhappy with the results with my XL Twin mattress Due to being so soft,
I have to be extremely careful getting in and out of bed.
